We may also collect additional information if you contact us for customer support. When you visit Our website, www.theciderologist.com, and make a purchase, we collect certain types of information, all deemed Personal Information, for a variety of reasons. This broadly falls into two categories: Device Information, to offer you the best possible website experience and to guard against fraud, and Order Information, so that we can process your order in a timely fashion

Personal information collected relates to purchases that you make. The Ciderologist uses the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site, including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).

Sharing Personal Information
We share your Personal Information with Third Parties to power the The Ciderologist webshop. The Ciderologist uses Shopify Ltd for the shopping experience and website and MailChimp as the marketing automation platform. By submitting your details to The Ciderologist, you acknowledge that the information you provide will be transferred to Shopify and MailChimp for processing in accordance with their Privacy Policy and Terms. As a resident outside the Canada and the US, since Shopify is domiciled in Canada, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, in particular to Canada.
Data Retention
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records for at least a year for regulatory reasons, and until you ask us to delete this information.
Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
